DON WASMusic has always loomed large in the life of Don Was. Born in Detroit in 1952, he has enjoyed a multi-faceted career as a musician, record producer, music director, film composer, documentary filmmaker, and radio host. Since 2011, he has also served as President of America’s venerated jazz label, Blue Note Records. As a record producer, he has won six Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year in 1989 for Bonnie Raitt’s Nick of Time and Producer of the Year in 1994. Albums he has produced have sold close to 100 million copies for a wide array of artists such as The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, John Mayer, Ringo Starr, Wayne Shorter, The B-52s, and Charles Lloyd. In 1995, he produced and directed the Brian Wilson documentary I Just Wasn’t Made For These Times, which won the San Francisco Film Festival’s Golden Gate Award. As a film composer, he received the 1994 British Academy Award (BAFTA) for Best Original Score for the film Backbeat. He also won the 2014 Emmy Award for Outstanding Music Direction for CBS’s The Beatles: The Night That Changed America. In 2018, Don joined Grateful Dead guitarist Bob Weir to form the Wolf Brothers, a band that continues to tour in the U.S. and overseas. In April 2023, he served as Music Director for Willie Nelson’s 90th birthday celebration at the Hollywood Bowl, and he is featured in the Willie Nelson & Family documentary on Paramount+. In September 2024, he was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Americana Music Foundation at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium. He also hosts Dinner With Don Was, a weekly radio show on John Mayer’s SiriusXM Channel 14. At Blue Note Records, Don fiercely protects the label’s 85-year-old legacy, meticulously preserving its revered catalog of Black American Music. His work includes overseeing acclaimed vinyl reissue series such as Tone Poet and Classic Vinyl, as well as signing and producing many of the label’s current artists, including Robert Glasper, Charles Lloyd, Wayne Shorter, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Gregory Porter, and Jason Moran. Don’s deep Detroit roots keep him closely tied to the city. For the past 15 years, he has music-directed and played bass in the Don Was Detroit All-Star Revue, part of Detroit’s annual diversity festival, the Concert of Colors. From 2009 to 2012, he hosted The Motor City Hayride on SiriusXM’s Outlaw Country channel, and since 2021 he has co-hosted The Don Was Motor City Playlist, a live weekly show on Detroit’s NPR station WDET-FM. Don is also the voice of Neville the Dog in the hit Amazon Prime Video children’s series Pete the Cat. THE PAN-DETROIT ENSEMBLEDon Was’ latest group, The Pan-Detroit Ensemble, features top-tier jazz musicians from his hometown. “There’s a unique sound and feel to Detroit that permeates the music in a way that resonates all over the globe,” says Was. “There’s a rawness, a lack of pretension, and an unmistakable underlying groove that reflects the people and culture of the entire city.”

Shaun Cassidy is an American writer, producer, actor and Grammy-nominated singer. After originally making his name as a performer, Cassidy went on to create, write, and produce a number of critically acclaimed television series including AMERICAN GOTHIC, ROAR, COLD CASE, COVER ME, THE AGENCY, INVASION, and EMERALD CITY. Cassidy recently spent five years as executive producer and writer for the hit NBC/NETFLIX series, NEW AMSTERDAM, and he is currently writing the book for a forthcoming Broadway musical. The son of Tony award winning actor Jack Cassidy and Academy award winner Shirley Jones (and half-brother of the late singer/actor David Cassidy), Shaun grew up in Los Angeles and New York City. While still in high school, he signed a contract with Warner Brothers records. This led to three multi-platinum albums and numerous top ten hits including the #1 DA DOO RON RON, THAT'S ROCK N' ROLL, HEY DEANIE, and DO YOU BELIEVE IN MAGIC? Cassidy received a Grammy nomination for his efforts and performed at every major arena in the country including Madison Square Garden. Almost concurrently, he starred in the ABC television series THE HARDY BOYS MYSTERIES. Later, while spending over a year on Broadway acting in the hit musical BLOOD BROTHERS, Shaun wrote his first television pilot, AMERICAN GOTHIC. From 2020-2024, Cassidy took his self-penned music and storytelling show, THE MAGIC OF A MIDNIGHT SKY, to the stage, playing to SRO crowds nationwide, and last year, he embarked on the biggest tour of his entire career, THE ROAD TO US. Having written and recorded two new songs to support the tour, MY FIRST CRUSH and THE LAST SONG, Shaun is excited to be back in the studio recording new material for his holiday show, UNWRAPPED. Shaun is grateful to make his home in the wine country of Santa Barbara with his wife, Tracey, their four children, and more animals than he can count. In collaboration with No Kid Hungry, his family produces a collection of fine wines, MY FIRST CRUSH, which donates money to feed hungry children nationwide. Shaun Cassidy VIP Experience One premium ticket in the first 7 rows Early entry Intimate pre-show Q&A Intimate group photo in front of the stage with Shaun Cassidy Exclusive Shaun Cassidy Unwrapped VIP merchandise bundle Official Shaun Cassidy VIP laminate & lanyard

As an original member of MSB and the first person Michael ever asked to join his band, I’m very proud to have been the songwriter and lead vocalist on 5 of the 13 tracks on this classic album: “Nothing's Gonna Change My Mind”, “Waste A Little Time On Me”, "Wild Sanctuary", “Pierette” and "Strike Up The Band"; as well as lead guitar and background vocalist on Michael’s stellar tracks, “Midwest Midnight”, “Rosewood Bitters”, "Calcutta Auction", "One Good Reason",“Moving Right Along” and "Let's Get The Show On The Road"; and Daniel’s “Real Good Time”. 50 years later, it’s gratifying to know that these songs and this album continue to resonate with the people of Northeast Ohio and are as meaningful and loved as they were when they were first released. These anniversary shows are also a very fitting time for me to start winding things down. After over 50 years of live performing, I'm proud I can still bring my "A" game to every concert I play for you all, literally the best fans in the world. But time marches on, so I’ll will be bringing my "MSB-themed" shows to a close with one last BIG event: the celebration of "Stage Pass 50". We will be performing Stage Pass in its entirety, in the original song order, this one last time. (You can expect a full set of Breathless and solo favorites as well.) All this will happen on the exact anniversary of two of the dates we recorded Stage Pass, October 22 and 24, at one of my favorite venues, The Kent Stage (the 23rd will be a day of rest “wink wink”).
Black Violin has always been about taking things further, exceeding expectations, challenging conventions. The duo has steadily built a devoted following and a diverse touring base— culminating in such triumphs as two sold-out shows at the Kennedy Center with the National Symphony Orchestra commemorating the 50th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s death, and appearances on the Today Show, CBS Mornings, and PBS Newshour—while occupying a musical lane that’s entirely its own. Black Violin’s work extends far beyond the stage, reaching deep into communities nationwide with numerous free performances for students and hands-on engagement with youth symphonies and community centers. Through collaborations with local and national education programs such as Turnaround Arts, Baptiste and Marcus connect with more than 100,000 students throughout the year, including low-income and Title 1 schools, and adopted Bethune Elementary, in Florida’s Broward County (near where they grew up) to initiate an ongoing mentorship program. The members of Black Violin met on the first day of orchestra class in 1996 at Dillard High School of the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale. (Baptiste originally wanted to play saxophone in the band, but the orchestra teacher got him assigned to his class after winning a golf bet with the band instructor.) Classically trained by day, they faithfully put on their headphones and listened to the hottest rap records each night. They went to different colleges—Marcus attended Florida International University and Baptiste went to Florida State—but then reconvened, moved into an apartment together, and started trying to produce other musicians. They developed an act covering hip-hop songs on their violins, which became popular in local clubs. Two years after sending in a tape to Showtime at the Apollo, they were invited to appear on the show—which they won, and kept winning. They were approached by the manager of Alicia Keys, who asked them to perform with the singer at the Billboard Awards. Other offers followed—they toured with Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park, opened for the Wu-Tang Clan, and worked with the likes of Alessia Cara, 2 Chainz, and Lil Wayne. All the while, Black Violin continued touring non-stop (playing as many as 200 shows a year) and released two independent, self-financed albums before putting out the acclaimed Stereotypes in 2016, followed by 2019’s Take the Stairs.“Wil and I are similar, but we approach music in different ways,” notes Marcus. “He says that he searches for music that feels good but oftentimes, music that feels good isn’t music that necessarily transcends anything. With Black Violin, I look for music that challenges people—for me, number one, it has to be like, what the f**k is this? If you get that reaction the first time you feel it, you’ll never forget us. And that, to me, has been the whole thing. It has to be disruptive; it has to be chaotic beauty. What can I do that no one else thought was possible? That’s the driving force for me as a creator.” Black Violin VIP Experience One Premium Reserved ticket in the first eight (8) rows Access to view a portion of soundcheck Q&A session Photo opportunity with Kev and Wil Commemorative VIP laminate VIP access to the merchandise booth* and a 20% discount on any available item Early entry to the venue

In a career that took flight in 1985 with commercial and critical acclaim, guitar virtuoso Stanley Jordan has consistently displayed a chameleonic musical persona of openness, imagination, versatility and maverick daring. Be it bold reinventions of classical masterpieces or soulful explorations through pop-rock hits, to blazing straight ahead jazz forays and ultramodern improvisational works-solo or with a group-Jordan can always be counted on to take listeners on breathless journeys into the unexpected. Key to Jordan’s fast-track acclaim was his mastery of a special technique on the guitar’s fretboard. Instead of conventional strumming and picking, Jordan’s innovative “touch technique” is an advanced form of two-handed tapping. While a handful of other players were using similar techniques, Stanley’s fluid, multi-layered textures and sheer virtuosity raised the bar for excellence. But his technique, though impressive, is always a means to a musical end. His music is imbued with a warmth and sensitivity that has captured the imagination of listeners worldwide. A classically trained pianist before playing guitar, Jordan wanted greater freedom in voicing chords on his guitar, so he applied piano principles to do so. Jordan’s touch technique allows the guitarist to play melody and chords simultaneously with an unprecedented level of independence. It also allows Jordan to play simultaneously on two different guitars, or even on guitar and piano. He says that “I think of it as a single instrument, but one with a wide range of tonal colors-that’s why I do it.”

The band has consistently released critically-acclaimed records and toured the world nurturing a devoted following. Over the Rhine has also opened shows for Bob Dylan, Lucinda Williams and Cowboy Junkies among many others. Bergquist’s timeless voice “has the power to stop the world in its tracks” (Performing Songwriter). Paste Magazine praises the duo’s songs as “true confessional masterpieces” and included them in their list of 100 Best Living Songwriters. Rolling Stone described Over the Rhine as “a band with no sign of fatigue whose moment has finally arrived.” Quite a sentiment for a group that has already released over 15 studio albums. Over the Rhine eventually relocated 45 miles East of Cincinnati and made their home in the rolling fields of Ohio. They have established Nowhere Else Festival on their small farm, a music and arts festival that takes place every Labor Day Weekend with world-class songwriters and artists.
Noel "Paul" Stookey His performing career began in Birmingham, Michigan, where, as a lover of jazz, pop, and standup comedy, he formed a high-school R & B band called “The Birds of Paradise.” At Michigan State University he was a popular emcee at campus events and in 1959 he heading to New York City. Soon he discovered Greenwich Village, and landed a steady gig as a singer and master of ceremonies at the Gaslight Cafe. It was there he meet Albert Grossman, who was manager at the time of activist Peter Yarrow and was looking for two more singers to complete his vision of a trio. Noel agreed to take on ‘Paul’ as his middle name and ‘Peter, Paul and Mary’ soon became a popular music phenomenon. Releasing their first album in 1962 and with two more hit releases the following year, they energized the folk revival of the 1960s and brought songs of peace and social justice to a whole generation of rock ‘n rollers. Barely two years after their debut performance at the Village’s Bitter End, they were singing in front of the Lincoln Memorial to a crowd of 250,000 people, joining Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at the historic March on Washington. When asked in a 2020 interview what his most memorable time was in his five decades with the trio, Noel cited that day in Washington all those years ago. “It awakened me,” he said. “It awakened all of us.” Noel, Peter and Mary became an iconic ‘family’ both on and off stage; the affection between the three of them palpable and present. Performing over 200 concerts a year, they brought both traditional and newly written songs of justice and peace to a global audience. During its now legendary career, the trio won five Grammy's, produced 13 Top 40 hits, of which 6 ascended into the Top 10 - as well as eight gold and five platinum albums. In 1969, after nearly a decade of constant travel and performing, Noel had an even deeper calling, this one of the spirit, reawakening his Christian faith and shifting his focus from the world stage to matters closer to home. “My perspective on everything changed,” he recalls, “and I am immensely grateful for it.” The following year, the trio began their “seven years off for good behavior,” and he released his first solo album. It included the widely popular “Wedding Song,” penned for the occasion of Peter’s marriage to Marybeth McCarthy. Since 1978, (following PP&M’s reunion concert and nearly 5 decades of trio performances prior to Mary’s death in 2009 and most recently Peter’s passing in January of 2025) Noel’s own songwriting style has addressed world issues straight on: as in “El Salvador” and “In These Times,” and often more intimately, in “Jean Claude,” and “The Connection.” These songs are included in “Just Causes,” his 2020 CD. The 87 year old ‘folkie’ (as he often refers to himself), continues to live in Blue Hill with his wife Betty Bannard Stookey, an ordained Congregational minister, former chaplain and co-creator with Noel of “One Light Many Candles,” a multi-faith presentation of readings and songs. “To sing folk music is, ultimately, to live its ethic,“ Noel has stated often in interviews, “and, whether in the context of my family, Peter, Paul and Mary, the Bodyworks band, or my long and abiding respect for my friends and fellow folkies, I am continually amazed and thankful for all of the often surprising circumstances that continue to make up my life

John Scofield's Electrospective featuring Oteil Burbridge, Larry Goldings, and Adam Deitch! Through his 54-year career, 3-time Grammy Award winner John Scofield has occasionally detoured from the traditions of straight-ahead jazz, exploring a blend of funk and jazz that has led to some of his most popular projects. In late autumn of 2026, Scofield looks back at many of his now classic fusion groove compositions with Electrospective. Not intending to replicate the earlier fan favorites, he plans instead to revisit them with the seasoned perspective of several decades; culling tunes from his Blue Matter, Uberjam, and AGoGo bands – each responsible for a few recordings – as well as new material in the same vein. Scofield looks forward to teaming up with a stellar band of colleagues, Electrospective will rely on interpretative input from Scofield alum and super funk drummer/producer Adam Deitch (Lettuce), multidimensional Larry Goldings (Scary Goldings, James Taylor) on keyboards, and legendary bassist Oteil Burbridge (Dead & CO., Tedeschi Trucks, Allman Brothers). With this repertoire so frequently (and loudly) requested by audience members, Scofield is glad to have a band that will truly do the music justice.
